Energy deposition by relativistic electrons in high temperature targets
Description
Under the conditions existing in electron beam pellet fusion targets, temperature and density effects on the energy loss and multiple scattering are shown to cause significant effective range shortening. A significant drop in the bremsstrahlung yield is also calculated. (author)
