Stripping to unbound states of sup(13-15)N: combined analysis of (d,n) and (p,p0) on sup(12-14)C
- 1. Hahn-Meitner-Institut fuer Kernforschung Berlin G.m.b.H. (F.R. Germany). Bereich Kern- und Strahlenphysik
Description
Energy distributions of neutrons from the (d,n) reactions on sup(12-14)C leading to unbound states of sup(13-15)N have been measured at 6.3 or 6.5MeV deuteron energy. Angular distributions have been extracted for sup(13-14)C(d,n) transitions and analysed with DWBA using the extrapolation technique to give l-value and transition strengths for ten unbound states in 14N and six in 15N. For the 15N level at 10.541 MeV it is concluded that Jsup(π) is 3/2-. A new 15N level is observed at 11.44MeV. The 00 (d,n) cross sections have been set in proportion to (p,p0) resonance cross sections, and a pronounced l-dependence of the ratio is obtained. (Auth.)
