Extraction of alkaline earth elements by carboxylic earth elements by carboxylic acids
Description
The dependence has been studied of the distribution coefficients of alkaline earth elements (AEE) on pH of equilibrium aqueous phase during extraction with different carboxylic acids. The composition of the barium compound being extracted has been determined for α-isopropyl-β-isobutylacrylic acid. It is shown that maximum distribution coefficients for strontium-barium are obtained in the presence of a salting-out agent upon dilution of α-isopropyl-β-isobutylacrylic acid with a polar diluent and upon saturation of an organic phase with the elements being separated
