Eco information 11. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost, a.s., on the environment within November 2009

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP, Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (TSU RAO) and Interim Spent Fuel Storage (MSVP) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - November 2009 (for NPP V1, TSU RAO, and MSVP, respectively) were: 3.440 TBq (0.172% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 5.948 MBq (0.007% AL) for V1), 3.621 MBq (0.385% of AL) for TSU RAO and 0.371 MBq (0.124% of AL) for MSVP) of aero-soles; 6.025 MBq (0.009% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a November 2009 for NPP V1, TSU RAO and MSVP, respectively) were: 0.294 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 1.896 MBq (V1), 1.519 MBq (TSU RAO) and 0.086 MBq (MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.095 MBq (V1) of iodine; 1.535 MBq (V1) and 15.409 MBq (TSU RAO and MSVP, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 125.0 GBq (V1) and 26.113 GBq (TSU RAO and MSVP, totally) of tritium (into the Vah River) and 0.000 GBq of tritium (V1, into the Dudvah River). For the period January - November 2009 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 14.103 MBq (0.108% of AL) for V1, 104.011 MBq (0.867% of AL) for TSU RAO and MSVP, totally; and for tritium it is 904.4 GBq (4.522% of AL) for V1, 177.093 GBq (1.771% of AL) for TSU RAO (into the Vah River) and 0.046 GBq (0.023% of AL) for V1 (into the Dudvah River). Chemical effluents are reported, too.
