Effects of pion condensation on hadronic matter including strangeness

Creators

  • 1. Chiba Inst. of Tech., Narashino, Chiba (Japan)

Description

Onset condition of hyperons in charged-pion(πc)-condensed phase is examined. It is shown that the onset of hyperons shifts to higher baryon number density in the πc-condensed phase than in the normal neutron-star matter. Relevance of this result to possible realization of kaon condensation from the πc-condensed phase is discussed. (author)
