Description
This newsletter presents, first, the three possible scenarios of linking the Kyoto international system to the European emissions trading system via the credits for clean development mechanism (Cd) projects. Then, it makes a synthesis of the European CO2 market over the last 13 months: traded volumes, spot prices, climate indexes (temperature, precipitations), economic activity indicators (industrial production index, business leaders' confidence index, changes in energy prices, CO2 quotas allocated to European Union countries, and detailed indicators of CO2 market, climate, economic activity and energy prices.
