Excitation of high-lying nuclear levels in γ-quanta resonance scattering produced in (n,γ) reactions

Description
The nuclear states 6104±3 keV in Mn and Ni, 5603±2 keV in 113Cd, and 5087±5 and 6109±3 keV in 208Pb are excited by resonance scattering of the γ-quanta produced in neutron capture. The effective cross section of γ-resonance scattering is found. The values Γ=(180±30)x10-3 eV, δ=7.5±2.0 eV, and Γγ0=8175±25)x10-3 eV, δ=6.5±2.0 eV for the 5603 and 6190 keV states, respectively, are obtained
