The 0+ nonet is respectable
Description
We discuss a simple model which resolves long standing problems associated with the S* and δ scalar mesons, the systematics of the 4 L = 1 qantiq nonets (the scalar nonet in particular), scalar resonances observed in J/ψ → vector-pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar, and the ΔI = 1/2 rule in K → π π. The model is based on meson-meson interactions which enter through quark exchange processes and pair annihilation and creation processes. In our picture the S* and δ scalar mesons are not 3P0 qantiq scalars but are instead I = 0 and 1 S-wave KantiK Molecules created by the coupled channel interplay of individual meson-meson interactions. The other light pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar systems are affected in observable ways but they do not form bound states
