Description

Polarization independent three-dimensional perfect absorber is designed and analyzed numerically for mid-infrared wavelength range. The proposed design consists of four E-shaped structures perpendicular to each other. The optimized design shows near unity peak absorption of ~99% at 9.6 μm wavelength and has a resonant bandwidth of about 543 nm. (author)
