Three-cluster models of nuclei 8Li and 8B.The astrophysical application

Description
The wave functions of 8Li and 8B nuclei were calculated by us in framework of three-particle (αtn and ατp cluster models correspondingly. There were reproduced quite good bind energy, spectrum of low lying states, root mean square radius and magnetic moments. However for 8Li nucleus our calculation strongly underestimated value of quadrupole moment Q. Hereinafter by increase of number of basis states and with taking into account of tensor forces it was possible considerably to increase value of the quadrupole moment. Let's mark, that the 8Li and 8B nuclei play the relevant role in the astrophysical applications. The Gamov's theory of elements formation by a nucleon radiative capture reactions is in trouble because of absence in the nature of stable nuclei with A=5 and 8. The problem can be resolved by a following chain of reactions α(t, γ)7Li(n, γ)8Li(α(, n)1B(n, γ)12B(β-v)12C. The reaction of a radiative capture 7Be(p, γ)8B is the main reaction, accountable for a neutrino production of high energies on the Sun. In calculations for its calibration will use reaction 7Li(d, p)8Li. Besides this reaction results in formation of additional quantity of 8Li nuclei. Using the three-particle wave functions, obtained by us, we have executed calculations of cross-sections of reactions 7Li(n, γ)8Li, 7Be(p, γ)8B and 7Li(d, p)8Li. For obtaining of interaction potentials the cluster folding-model was used. The outcomes on cross-sections are compared to the data, available in the literature. Let's note, that the three-particle models allow to take into account channels such as 8Li(n, γ)9Li and 8Li(d ,p)9Li, for which one experimental data recently were obtained in an inverse kinematics. The 9Li nuclei are unstable and by 3-decay result in formation of a stable isotope 9Be
