Description
Sensitive and selective detection of protein from complex samples is of high necessity at present. Earlier and precise detection of proteins play an important role in potential clinical diagnosis, treatment of different diseases as well as in proteomic research. A new fluorescent probe (E)-2-(((5-nitrobenzo(d)thiazol-2-yl) imino) methyl) phenol was developed for effective detection of protein by the AIE mechanism. Molecular structure of the probe is determined using various analytical and spectral techniques. The protein binding properties of the receptor were thoroughly investigated in tris buffer (HCl) at room temperature using absorption and emission spectral tools. On excitation, the probe exhibits strong luminescence at room temperature, and it is further conformed by the photophysical properties, synchronous, 3 D fluorescent spectroscopy and FRET. The probe exhibits a fluorogenic response upon reaction with the target enzymes which leads to increased imaging contrast and sensitivity. The data clarified that the aggregation-induced emission based dye can act as an efficient and eco-friendly probe for the detection of protein
