Electronic properties of iron chalcogenides FeS, FeS2, FeSe2, and FeTe2
Description
Lavin's modifications of Phillips and Van Vechten (PVV) theory are discussed and hence ionic gap (E/sub c/), homopolar gap (E/sub h/), and ionicity (f/sub i/) are investigated for iron chalcogenides (FeS, FeS2, FeSe2, and FeTe2). A correlation between evaluated values of ionicity and Moessbauer isomeric shift is also discussed. (author)
