Description
In this paper, we have applied the double folding model (DFM) to the analysis of the scattering of Mg isotopes on a 12C target at 240 MeV/nucleon and have compared the results with the experimental data that have been already measured but not been published yet. Our theoretical results well reproduce the experimental data on the total reaction cross-section except for 37Mg. It is expected that 37Mg is a deformed halo nucleus and it is suggested that further analyses including the tail correction should be made
