Detached plasma
Description
Fundamental properties and structure of detached plasma are reviewed in terms of control of heat and particle flux to the divertor plate in experimental fusion reactors. Basic experiments and numerical simulations on plasma detachment due to plasma-gas interaction are introduced, and the experiments on tokamak dissipated divertor are also described. (author)
