Radon calibration chamber and NuEM LUCAS detection system as part of the radon monitoring program of Cerna Hora

A radon chamber of 1 m³ is designed for instrument calibration and, like the NuEM LUCAS detection system, was manufactured and supplied by Nuvia a.s. For the initial verification of the function of the calibration chamber, dry flow sources Rn-222 (CMI) with user-adjustable AlphaPUMP flow pumps (Saphymo) were used.
