An estimate of the coupling needed for vortices to condense in Yang-Mills theory

If vortices occur dynamically in Yang-Mills theory it is estimated that they must occur at a scale where the coupling g2/8π2 >approximately 2/3 in order for them to condense and cause confinement. (Auth.)
