Measurement of radionuclide activity
Description
General rules are given for activity measurement using ionization chambers; the method of calibration is described and the method of testing the activity meter performance is shown. Three variants are described of measuring activity, and response corrections are listed. Evaluation of accuracy, reproducibility and repeatibility of measurement is described. The most common causes of erroneous activity measurement are summed up. (E.J.)
