Description

The prevalence of salmonellae and other harmful micro-organisms in egg, poultry and pork is for Thailand a very severe problem, the solution of which would be of great importance to the economy of the country. An attempt was made to use ionizing radiation for rendering chicken meat free of Salmonella. A dose of not less than 50,000 rad was required. (author). 3 refs, 1 tab
