1H and 15N-nuclear magnetic resonance are used to study on the extraction mechanism of Ce(IV) by secondary carbon primary amine N19-23. The results indicate that water and sulfuric acid are extracted into organic phase when N1923 extracted Ce(IV). In the extracted processes of higher concentration of Ce(IV), N1923 coordinates with Cerium(IV) to produce the complex
