Description
The role of the radiotherapy in the treatment of malignant chorioidal melanomas has been established by means of 106Ru or 125I applicators and proton therapy. The rationale of the indication to utilize brachytherapy or proton therapy is presented on the basis of the clinical situation and physical characteristic of the different radiation modalities.
