The process of electroreduction of niobium chloride complexes in the NaCl-KCl melt

Description
The processes of niobium chloride complexes electroreduction in NaCl-KCl melt have been considered. DIffusion coefficients of Nb(5) and Nb(4) complexes, standard rate constants of charge transfer in the course of Nb(5) reduction to Nb(4) have been defined. Electrochemical behaviour of Nb3Cl8 in equimolar mixture of sodium and potassium chlorides has been discussed. 35 refs., 7 figs., 2 tabs
