Liquid-quenched amorphous superconductors

Description
Since the first amorphous superconducting alloy obtained by liquid quenching was reported in 1975, a systematic search for new alloy compositions has been carried out. Thirteen alloys are now known to be superconductors; their transition temperatures range from 1.5 to 9.0 K. (Auth.)
