Description
This chapter provides an integrated multidisciplinary overview of the Florida Middle Ground. The overview has been designed to integrate complete geophysical mapping with site specific submarine ground truthing, geological sampling, physical oceanographic in situ and time series recording, and biological and chemical sampling. The geophysical, physical, and geological data are used to describe the setting for biological data. The collection of biological data itself was designed around management concepts to address two diverse management objectives
