Description
Specific heat (Cp) and penetration depth λ were measured on a high-quality single-crystal of URu2Si2 (Tc=1.31 K). The observed temperature dependences of Cp, λab and λac imply that below Tc, URu2Si2 develops a superconducting state possessing energy-gap nodes. From our high-precision ac specific-heat measurements near Tc, we can fully exclude the possibility of an intrinsic double specific-heat transition in this material to within the measurement accuracy of 0.2%.
