Diffusion and silver solubility in different ceramics on the basis of lead zirconate-titanate
- 1. Ural'skij Politekhnicheskij Inst., Sverdlovsk (Russian Federation)
Description
A study of silver diffusion in lead zirconate-titanate base ceramics using radioisotopes shows that silver possesses a high diffusion mobility. Silver diffusion in ceramics of different compositions, evaluated by the method of diffusional saturation, is 0.04-0.2 at% and has the minimum value for nonmodified ceramics of lead zirconate-titanate. Doping by silver does not change piezoelectric properties of the ceramics. 3 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
