Radiation monitoring SHMU as a part of information about state of the environment

Description

In this paper author presents the system of radiation monitoring in the Slovak Republic. Radiation monitoring network of the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMU) is described. International cooperation with European Commission, Austria and Hungary is discussed. Results of influence of precipitation on dose equivalent in Jaslovske Bohunice in October 2008 are presented.
