Effective interactions of nucleons in the upper s--d shell
Creators
Description
The effective interactions of the nucleons in the upper s-d shell are studied in a truncated shell-model calculation by a least-squares fit to the experimental energy levels of the normal-parity states in the nuclei ³⁶S, ³⁶,³⁷Cl, ³⁷,³⁸K, and ³⁶,³⁸Ar. The resulting effective interactions and two-body matrix elements are discussed briefly.
