Distribution of natural radioisotopes in products of dust removing processes of ore-thermal furnaces

Description
Distribution of natural radionuclides of uranium and thorium series in dust-removing products of ore-thermal furnaces in the process of ilmenite reprocessing and titanium-chloride production is studied. Radiochemical and gamma-spectrometry radionuclide determinations in the products of dust-removing processes have been shown that lead-210 and polonium transfer to a dust fraction of OTF with normal lead and zinc being transferred to this fraction too. The thinnest dust fractions are rich with lead and polonium to a greater extent as compared to rougher dust fractions. 3 refs., 3 tabs
