Cascade γ-decay of the 80Br compound-state

Description
The study on the cascade γ-decay of the compound-states of various nuclei is continued at the LNF JINR for systematization and generalization of the previously obtained results and conclusions made on the basis thereof on the peculiarities of the process under consideration and factors, determining it. The cascades of two consequently emitted γ-quanta, originating after capture of the thermal neutrons in the 79Br and ending with the four nucleons low-lying levels are studied within the frames of this program. The total intensity of the cascades constitutes about 17% of the compound-state decays

В ЛНФ ОИЯИ продолжается изучение каскадного γ-распада компаунд-состояний различных ядер - для систематизации и обобщения полученных ранее результатов и сделанных на их основе заключений об особенностях изучаемого процесса и факторах, его определяющих. В рамках этой программы исследованы каскады из двух последовательно испущенных γ-квантов, возникающих после захвата тепловых нейтронов в 79Br и заканчивающихся четырьмя низколежащими уровнями ядра.
