A shortlived metalradionuclide labeled immunoglobulin-G for immunoradiometric assay: An approach for achieving Ga-labeling of immunoglobulin-G with high specific radioactivity
- 1. Kansai Medical Univ., Osaka (Japan)
- 2. Kyoto Univ. (Japan)
Description
A new approach for the gallium-67 labelling of IgG with very high specific radioactivity has been developed, based on the assumption that commercially available gallium-67 is possibly contaminated with iron ions which could lower the specific activity of the products from standard labelling reactions. Commercially available gallium-67 is purified prior to labelling reactions, resulting in much higher specific activity of the IgG product than is normally possible
