Description
Flow phenomena in the A phase of superfluid 3He have been studied by observing the transverse NMR signal. Marked changes occur in the presence of flow, including structure and satellite signals, step changes in signal amplitude at particular velocities, and rapid attenuation of the signal beyond some critical velocity. Little, if any, change of frequency of the signal is produced by flow
