Determination of optimal conditions of crystal growth of complex compounds according to solubility phase diagrams of ternary systems. Growth and properties of monocrystals
Description
A study was made on salt-salt-water, salt-acid-water, salt-hydroxide-water ternary systems, containing ordinary salts as components (chlorides, nitrites, nitrates, formates, phthalates of the 2st and the 2d group elements and rare earth elements, as well as other salts), the crystals of which are characterized by important physical properties (ferroelectrics, ferroelastics, materials for nonlinear optics). Technique, using the data of solubility phase diagrams of ternary systems, was developed to determine optimal conditions of crystal growing under dynamic conditions. 92 refs., 29 figs., 7 tabs
