Electron scattering from Pb
Description
It is shown how the electron scattering results are very closely related to the underlying nuclear structure and to the residual interaction. First, the low-lying negative-parity states in 208Pb are discussed. Then, the identification of the high-spin states is considered, and finally some consequences for the nuclear interaction are examined. 10 figures, 2 tables
