Description
The semi-infinite generalised Blume-Emery-Griffiths [1971, Phys. Rev. A4 1071] model of 3He-4He mixtures with a vector order parameter is analysed by means of Migdal-Kadanoff recursion relations :Migdal A. 1975, 2. Eksp. Teor. Fiz. 69 1457; Kadanoff L.P. 1976, Am. Phys. NY 100 359:. Superfluid film formation near the wall is put into evidence as a Kosterlitz-Thouless type transition [in 'Phase transitions in surface films' ed. J.D. Dash (New York:Plenum]. At higher 3He concentrations one observes the separation of a 4He rich normal film near the wall. (author)
