An endeavour from porous to 3D constructs bioceramics
- 1. Malaysian Inst. for Nuclear Technology Research MINT, Bangi (Malaysia). Medical Physics Group
Description
This paper present the production of HA/TCP (hydroxyapatite) starting materials and development porous forming techniques for bone graft substitutes. With minimal modifications, these materials can provide a good opportunity to study the scaffold constructs - cellular engineering interaction. Initiatives have been taken towards developing better 3D scaffold design and fabrication technology for bone tissue engineering
