  • 1. AN SSSR, Vladivostok. Inst. Khimii

Description

X-ray diffraction investigation of (CN4H8) ZrF6x0.5H2O is carried out. Crystals are monoclinic: a=6.847(1), b=28.282(2), c=8.236(1)A, γ=103.66(2)deg, ho=2.50 g/cm3, Z=8, sp.gr. P21/b. The (CN4H8)ZrF6x0.5H2O structure is formed of four-dimensional [ZrF7-ZrF8-ZrF8-ZrF7] complexes, aminoguanidonium groups ad water molecules. The coordination Zr polyhedrons are presented as slightly distorted polyhedrons: [ZrF8] prism. All vertexes of which are occupied by fluorine atoms. The compound structure and the system of hydrogen bonds in it are discussed
