The article is a review of 15 years' activity of the Nuclear Physics Department, Institute of Physics of the Maria Sklodowska-Curie University (UMCS), in the field of electromagnetic isotope separation. The results of experiments in ion beam physics, nuclear spectroscopy and ion implantation, obtained by means of electromagnetic separation technique, are described. (author)
