After a brief introduction which outlines opportunities provided by the sea in terms of resources and energies at the service of a sustainable development, the articles of this publication present the notion of exclusive economic zone and outline that it is an asset for France, propose an overview of the different marine bio-resources, and an overview and perspectives of sea energies. They present sea energies as an opportunity for new developments in the shipbuilding industry, and offshore wind energy as an opportunity for the French industry.
