RF heating launchers
Description
In the past few years, the use of RF heating has led to significant improvements in fusion plasma parameters. The launcher which radiates ICRF waves into the plasma is, in especial, the critical component where the physics and technology of ICRH meet. This paper shows the launchers for ICRH and LHH bolted onto a rectangular port opening in the first wall of the tokamak and mode converters for ECH. (author)
