Description
We compute the binding energy of the 3S1 and 1S0NN states (known to be bound by 2.22 and -0.07 MeV) using a covariant, singular-core, three-body model of the NNπ system with r/subc//supNN/=0.7 fm, 3f/sub infinity/=1.8, and 1f/sub infinity/=0.3 as observed at high energy. For the πN P11 input we use r/subc//sup piN/=0.18 fm fitted (or h/Mc=0.22 fm postulated) and find 3.26 (2.59) for 3S1 and 1.41 (0.73) for 1S0
