The design of environmental radioactivity monitoring system software for BATAN nuclear installations area

Description

The software for the environmental radioactivity monitoring system for use in the BATAN area has been designed. This software was written in the assembly language for the MCS51. The software is designed to run on the atmospheric radioactivity monitor in the Serpong BATAN nuclear installation area. The hardware is based on the AT89S8253 microcontroller and communicates with a master computer using a wireless modem. The data received by the master computer is to be stored in a database to b processed and displayed in the monitoring system in the form of graphs and data. The database includes date, month, year, and dose rate. The system is controlled through a provided control panel. (author)
