Labelling of rapid myocardial imaging agent TEBO and its animal studies

  • 1. Shanghai Medical Univ. (China). Zhongshan Hospital

Description

A new technetium labelled myocardial imaging agent teboroxime is reported. Its quality is identified after labelling. The results indicate that its physical, chemical and biological aspects are in accordance with radiopharmaceutical quality control standard made by China. The animal experiment shows that there is no difference between the experimental group and the control group after injecting one hundredfold human's dose in mice. After injection 0.1 ml (207.2 kBq/per mouse), the myocardial peak uptake is observed at the second minute, which is 17.75 +- 0.33% (g organ)-1, the heart clearance is also rapid, at the 15th minute postinjection, the uptake by myocardium is 8.24 +- 4.72% (g organ)-1. The liver is the major excretion organ. The characteristic of pharmacokinetium in rabbits can be a pharmacokinetics basis for a rapid planar myocardial imaging proto of multiple position
