Mass transfer in electrochemical separation of cadmium (2) from iminodiacetic electrolytes
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii
Description
Concentrational changes in the volume of solution and near cathode layer during electrochemical deposition of cadmium (2) from complex iminodiacetic electrolytes of the composition (mol/l):Cd(ClOsub(4))sub(2)sup(-0.01) iminodiacetic acid 0.02-1, pH 6.25-8.56 have been studied. The results obtained permit to make a conclusion that Cd(Imda)22- is the main form of cadmium existence, Imda2- - of ligand in near cathode layer, and protonated form HImda- - in electrolyte volume
