Description

Using numerical solution of inverse problem of solar cosmic ray (SCR) propagation SCR energy spectra near the Sun and in the Earth orbit, as well as relativistic proton transport range in interplanetary space during the solar proton event 16.02.1984 are determined. In the emission moment spectrum is of D(R)=(5±2)x1030xR-3.3±1.2 protonxGV-1 form in the rigidity range R=1-6 GV. Near the Earth spectrum in the moment of its maximal increase is described by the relation D(R)=2.5 R-3.5±0.5 cm-2xc-1xGV-1 for the range 0.8-1.8 GV. Proton transport range with R > or approx. 1 GV consists Λ > or approx. 1.6x10 12 cm approximately 0.17 au. Pitch-angular distribution of SCR near the Sun is also recovered. Problem on the nature and solar longitude of the source remains indistinct. By combined observation of particles, X-ray and radio-frequency radiation one may conclude that the source was disposed at visible disk or immediately after limb, but not in far behind-the-limb region
