Magnetic heterogeneities in Y(Cosub(1-x)Nisub(x))5 alloys and their relation to coercive force

Description
Low-angle neutron scattering was used to study magnetic heterogeneities in Y(Cosub(1-x)Nisub(x))5 alloys. The angular dependence of neutron scattering intensity has been measured for alloys with x = 0.6, 0.7, and 0.5 at 4.2, 80, and 300 K. The composition dependence of the coercive force and of the neutron scattering intensity extrapolated to 2theta = 0 at 4.2 K were found to be in good correlation
