Cylcotron resonance in a degenerate plasma of a semiconductor with a superlattice

  • 1. Institute of Semiconductor Physics, Academy of Sciences of the Lithuanian SSR, Vilnius

Description

An analysis is made of the characteristics of cyclotron absorption in a degenerate plasma of a semiconductor with a one-dimensional superlattice, subjected to crossed static fields. It is shown that characteristics of the electron distribution function and the nonparabolicity of the electron spectrum have the effect that the cyclotron resonance can be observed only in a certain range of frequencies of an external electromagnetic field
