Description

The Building Research Establishment has, since the mid-1980s, been funded by the Department of the Environment to develop practical, reliable and cost effective remedial measures for buildings with elevated indoor radon levels. Research has been carried out in conjunction with NRPB and has included: field trials of different solutions in houses and non-domestic buildings in the areas affected by radon research using a dedicated radon test house in Devon, laboratory testing and computer modelling work.
