Analytical model for the mutual coefficient between absorbing rods

Description
An analytical expression has been derived for the coefficient of interaction between two absorbing rods, by using the one-energy group 'black rod' approximation together with a model based on perturbation theory. The total worth of N rods may then be calculated by considering the contribution of interactions between pairs of rods. (author)
