Unusual transformations of trimethylphenoxysilane during its interaction with gallium iodide

Description

It is found through application of the NMR-, IR spectroscopy and gasliquid chromatography methods that interaction of trimethylphenonxysilane Me3SiOPh(1) with GaI3 proceeds in several directions. The diversity of the interaction products is related to the GaI3 catalytic and destructive effect
