Description
Research was performed to determine the possibility of rehabilitation of the contaminated water bearing layers through increased sorptive capacity of depositive formations and reliable fixation of radionuclides, i.e. formation of antimigration barriers. For localization of contaminations in the limited volume of water bearing layers the authors propose treatment of sand formations by solutions, using natural minerals, soluble in acids and gas mixtures. This leads to increased values of coefficients between phase distribution of isotopes in the formations. Further extraction of contaminations from zones of localization is performed by injection and pumping of leaching solutions
